We’re half way through December already & that can only mean one thing in our kitchen - it’s Christmas specials time! And a warm thank you to all our workshop attendees of 2024 - we hope to see you again next year!
Many mince pies have already been made (and consumed 😋), scones have risen and cranberry loaf has tempted us from our usual Sunday roasts. Christmas specials are here once more and we’re looking forward to sharing them with you!
Whose Christmas could be complete without a mince pie? Both our mince pie offerings this winter share the same filling full of gently spiced and sweetened raisins, cut with just a little fresh citrus, but we also have a special pastry for our vegan friends (or non-vegan friends - it really is a yummy pastry!).Â
Our delicious cheese & chive scones take a combination of several different gluten free flours to make and combine to produce a texture that is a little nutty even before the walnuts are added. Just when you think you can’t eat any more, one of these little guys will tempt you. I mean - they’re only mini scones, after all….
And finally, for those of you who are not turkey fans, you may find our beetroot & cranberry nut loaf more to your liking. These delicious little slices are full of all the goodness of lentils and nuts and have a lovely, slightly fruity flavour making for a unique christmas main.
Before we go, one last thank you to all our ‘Health Talks’ series of workshops attendees, we hope you enjoyed the sessions as much as we did and found lots of useful takeaways. We’ll be back in the New Year with some new workshop dates as we delve a little deeper into some of the most requested topics.
