Overnight Oats & Roasted Veggie Tartlets

A couple more summer specials coming your way & a big thank you to those of you who came to our first community 'Health Talks' workshop last Saturday!

Well, summer is just racing by isn't it? And, occasionally(!), the sun has even come out to say hello bringing some much needed warmth. On those rare, warm and sunny mornings Chrissy and I have been getting into the habit of enjoying overnight oats for breakfast and we thought we’d share the joy 😀

We have a couple of versatile options available, Lightly Spiced Vanilla or Cacao & Hazelnut. These little bowls of goodness (which are made to order and chilled) are the perfect start to your day. Not only are they delicious but they're also packed with high-quality protein and healthy fats to fuel your busy mornings. You can add your preferred fresh fruit or perhaps some crunchy nuts - plenty of different varieties can be created to keep your breakfasts interesting! We also offer the option for them to be made vegan, simply by excluding the yoghurt.

We’re also launching our savoury dish of the summer - Roasted Veggie Tartlets. These start with a crispy homemade (gf of course!) pastry base, which we top with our own sundried tomato sauce before crumbling over some tangy feta. Then comes the mixed vegetables (courgette, aubergine and mixed peppers), roasted and lightly seasoned and finally topped with a sprinkle of mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. To serve, we like to pair it with a salad for an easy and nutritious summer dinner (or lunch) - see our nourish bowls if you'd like to add one!

Lastly, we’d like to thank everybody who made it to the first of our community ‘Health Talks’ workshops last Saturday, which we operate under our sister company Salvatori Wellness (still Chrissy and I, just not quite so food focused!). We had some lovely people come along and contribute to lots of interesting discussions as we considered the 4 pillars of wellness (diet, movement, sleep & stress).

Our next workshop, on Saturday 17th August, will delve more thoroughly into the first pillar - Diet & Nutrition. If anybody is interested in attending any of our forthcoming workshops, you can find more details on our website - we’d love to see you!
